Reflect began with a simple frustration: most of what gets sold for the home is either beautiful and useless, or useful and ugly. We wanted a short list of things that were neither.

So this is a small catalogue, and it stays small on purpose. Twenty pieces at the moment, across four ideas — light you can move around a room, scent that lasts more than a week, tools for the ten minutes at the end of a day, and the unglamorous things that make a bed better to get into.

How we choose

Everything here has to do one specific thing well. A lamp has to throw light people actually comment on. A diffuser has to still be running at hour seven. If a product only works in the photograph, it doesn't make the list.

We buy and use each piece before it goes on the site. That's slower than the alternative, and it's the reason the catalogue is twenty items rather than two thousand.

How we ship

Our makers ship direct to you rather than via a warehouse in the UK. That keeps prices considerably lower than the equivalent on the high street, and it means delivery takes longer — usually 10 to 18 days. We'd rather say that plainly here than surprise you after you've paid. The full detail is on our delivery page.

Email hello@reflectecom.co.uk and a person replies, usually within a working day. There's no phone line — we'd rather answer properly in writing than badly in a hurry.
